Progressive Dinner Progressive Dinner is on Saturday, December 5, this year! We will load up on buses, travel to the homes of ECHS families, eat food, carol in neighborhoods, and then return to the campus for some socializing and dessert. More information will be coming out in the Charter Notes in the coming weeks. Ticket sales will begin the week of November 2. Lotteries for the 2027-2028 school year will open on October 13, 2026 for all programs. Applications are not required for currently enrolled students, but new siblings must submit a lottery application.

Palomar College Drop Ins and Palomar College Application Workshop On November 12 and December 10, during WIN time, Mr. Gonzalez from Palomar College will be here upstairs in the Future Center to help with searching for Spring semester Palomar classes, accessing and setting up your MyPalomar account, scheduling appointments with a Palomar Counselor, answering questions about the enrollment process and next steps, etc. Use this link to sign up for a time!

AP Testing Deposit An AP testing deposit of $40 is due by Tuesday, November 3, 2026. AP testing is in May, but tests must be ordered in the fall. If you are planning to take an AP test, make sure you log into your College Board account, join the class/test, and then submit your deposit using this link. Palomar Spring 2027 Are you thinking about taking an independent Palomar class next semester? The Palomar Spring 2027 classes are available to be viewed here. Priority Registration for the classes starts on Monday, October 26. If you are planning on taking a Palomar class independently, follow these steps.
Registration for our ECHS/Palomar Partnership courses (ASL 101, Geography 100, Child Development 100, Religion Studies, Psychology 100, and Political Science 101) will not start until the end of October.
Grade 10 College Bound Seminar Sophomore students and parents are encouraged to attend the Grade 10 College Bound Seminar on Wednesday, October 28, from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. It will be hosted by our ECHS Student Services team. Topics include: the career exploration process, college information, paying for college, and more.
College Visits ECHS will be offering on-campus college visits starting in September. Some college reps will be out at lunch in the quad area to meet our students, and pass out information about their school. On Wednesdays or Thursdays, college reps will come to campus during WIN Time to present information about their school to our students. You will need to sign up ahead of time. Please check back regularly for the college visit schedule.

For every 4 items, you will receive 30 minutes of community service, with up to 1.5 hours for 12 items. Please no instant noodles. Saxon Day ECHS Saxon Day is coming soon and will be celebrated on Thursday/Friday, November 19/20! We’re looking for creative, math-themed videos and live performances celebrating John Saxon and the math curriculum. Whether it's a skit, parody, or musical performance, be sure it's fun, engaging, and school-appropriate. All submissions are due by Friday, November 6, and must follow the ECHS Saxon Day Guidelines.
